Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater Reldan is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to support our Recycling Operations team and strengthen a proactive, Safety First culture. The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, HR, and site leadership to identify workplace hazards and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, investigations of incidents/near-misses, audits, training, and maintaining records within EHS systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of health and safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, recycling, mining, or a similar environment.
• Experience with safety inspections, audits, training, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, PHA, DHA, and EHS software experience are a plus.

Full-Time Onsite

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to support our Recycling Operations team and help strengthen a proactive, Safety First culture.

This role will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Human Resources, and site leadership to identify workplace hazards, support regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, deliver safety training, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections, safety observations, JHAs, and risk assessments

Compliance & Work Environment
Candidates must be able to meet applicable ITAR and NAID requirements. This role works in an active industrial environment and requires the ability to walk production areas, climb stairs, stand for extended periods, wear required PPE, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
