Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to support a large-scale construction project inside an active manufacturing facility in Albany, GA. The role focuses on enforcing safety standards across multiple trades and evolving site conditions, with strong field presence and collaboration with plant personnel and contractors.

The ideal candidate will hold OSHA certifications, CHST or CSP, and CPR, plus 3+ years of construction safety experience, and be fluent in Spanish/English

Qualifications

• On-site safety leadership for a large-scale construction project.
• Experience around manufacturing environments is helpful but not required.
• Ability to communicate safety expectations to superintendents, contractors and plant personnel.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety presence for a large-scale new-build project.

• Provide safety training, guidance, and field-level support.
• Respond to hazards and changing site conditions.

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to support a large-scale construction project within an active manufacturing environment in Albany, GA. This is a long-term, boots-on-the-ground safety role supporting construction activities while working within an established manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and experience working around heavy machinery, chemical hazards, multiple trades, and evolving site conditions. This individual will be highly visible in the field and responsible for ensuring safety expectations are understood and followed across the project.

This position requires someone who can confidently communicate with superintendents, contractors, trade partners, and plant personnel while maintaining a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to safety.

Day‑to‑Day

• Serve as on‑site safety presence for a large‑scale new‑build project
• Communicate safety expectations clearly to contractors and client teams
• Provide safety training, guidance, and field‑level support
• Respond to competing hazards and changing site conditions
• Coordinate closely with two existing site safety professionals
• Identify, communicate, and carefully implement corrective actions
• Support hot work activities and ongoing construction phases (trenching largely complete)
• Maintain professionalism and credibility with a seasoned, cautious safety team

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• Strong construction safety background (manufacturing experience helpful but does not replace construction experience)
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain; training available)-Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders (clients, trade partners, internal teams)-Procore familiarity (used heavily on site)-Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred, not required)
