Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Site Safety Leader to manage the safety program on on-site projects and promote the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture. You will deliver safety trainings and communicate safety issues across teams, with potential regional scope or project-specific assignment.

Key responsibilities include monitoring safety programs, collaborating with leadership, and supporting workers' compensation needs while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience and proven results including excavation, trenching, fall protection, confined space, silica and scaffolding, rigging & signaling.
• Working knowledge of EHS standards and industry regulatory standards in construction, with ability to communicate such standards to others.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Willingness to work in various (sometimes extreme) climate conditions.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
• Developed skills (written, oral, and listening) to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
• Ability to drive to the core of complex issues and provide insightful feedback.

Job Description:

Adolfson and Peterson Construction is currently hiring for a Site Safety Leader.

This role will manage AP’s safety program onsite to ensure a safe environment for all team members. Champion the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) philosophy and culture in a manner that supports senior managements’ commitment operate in a manner that fosters and supports the IIF initiative. Provide safety trainings and communicate safety issues. This position may be responsible for a region’s safety program or be assigned specifically to designated projects.

History of experience and proven results including:
