CBRE Government & Defense Services seeks a site Health & Safety professional to execute a corporate worksite health & safety program at the assigned facility and develop site-specific programs in line with Company policies and applicable regulations.
You will train the workforce on safety procedures, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and maintain records to ensure OSHA compliance and a strong safety culture.
Execute a Corporate worksite Health & Safety program at assigned facility and develop and administer site-specific Health & Safety programs, consistent with established Company policies and in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Train workforce on safety procedures and requirements. Ensure all elements of contract safety requirements are being followed and adopted. Reports to Site Level Contract Maintenance Manager.
Preferred: Associate Degree in Safety Management or a related field
Required: 5 years of continuous safety experience in supervising or managing general industry/construction/O&M, including managing safety programs or processes or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls.
For five years, has maintained competencies through 8-hours of formal safety and health related training per year.
Required: Certification of Completion of OSHA 30-hour General Industry course Certified Safety, Environmental and Emergency Manager (CSEM) preferred within 8 months of reporting on site the SSO will attend the following classes provided by the American Society of Hospital Engineers: NFPA 101 for healthcare (3-day course), NFPA 99 (3-day course), and ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate (2-day course). The contractor will provide to the COR a copy of the certificate of completion for each of these courses.
The rate for this position range is $110,000 - $130,000. This position may also be eligible for a wide range of benefits based on applicable bargaining unit agreements.
