Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking a Site Robotics Strategic Lead in Morris Plains, NJ, onsite. You will shape the robotics strategy, evaluate emerging solutions, and deploy site-wide robotics programs that deliver measurable business value.

You will own URS documentation, harmonize standards across centers, and drive governance of the robotics technology catalog, while ensuring GMP, GxP, and cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in industrial robotics or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience leading robotics or automation projects from concept through deployment.
• Knowledge of robotics systems, automation architectures, and manufacturing technologies.
• Experience developing URS documentation and technology roadmaps.
• Understanding GMP, GxP, validation, data integrity, and quality systems.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive technology adoption.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the site robotics technology strategy aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Define and harmonize robotics standards, requirements, and roadmaps across centers.
• Own and maintain URS for robotics technologies and platforms.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of emerging robotics solutions, incl. computer vision and AI.
• Translate technologies into scalable site-ready solutions with measurable value.
• Manage the robotics technology catalog and governance of approved solutions.
• Assess vendor capabilities and partner with Procurement on suppliers.
• Drive pilots and adoption with site and global stakeholders.
• Present roadmap progress and project outcomes to leadership forums.
• Ensure robotics solutions comply with GMP, GxP, cybersecurity, and quality systems.
