Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a Data Domain SRE to join the Global Operation team. You will design monitoring, automate deployment and incident response, and optimize data pipelines for reliability and performance.

You’ll work with data engineers to manage large-scale data platforms and ensure security and compliance across systems. You will drive capacity planning, implement scalable solutions, and contribute to cross-team initiatives to improve data reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an SRE, DevOps, or Data Operations Engineer.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Extensive experience in database management (NoSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong experience with modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming in Python, Go, Java, or Scala.
• Experience using monitoring and log management tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with ability to resolve production issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
