Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, within the Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to join a 24/7 Operations Technology team. The role focuses on monitoring health, reliability, and security of HPC facilities and data center systems.

You will work in an onsite 5-day weekly Owl shift (midnight–8 am) and collaborate across IT, network, and on-call staff to resolve incidents and automate operational tasks.

Qualificações

• Experience in 24/7 onsite data center environments.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor alerts from systems, storage, network, and related services.
• Triaging or calling on-call staff to resolve incidents.
• Develop/maintain tools to automate monitoring and responses.
• Collaborate across groups to ensure reliability and adherence to SLAs.
• Maintain accurate trouble tickets and documentation during incidents.
