Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support a Trade Compliance and Innovation initiative in a distributed team. The role centers on Azure-based apps, IaC with Terraform, and building resilient CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Java and Python microservices, manage Azure Container Apps and Kubernetes environments, and drive automation, monitoring, and incident response to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud or Infra Engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on IaC experience using Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub.
• Experience supporting containerized applications using Kubernetes, AKS, or Azure Container Apps.
• Strong scripting or development experience using Python/Go/Java/.NET/Node.js.
• Experience with cloud networking, security, monitoring, and reliability practices.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support a Trade Compliance and Innovation initiative. This role will serve as the primary SRE for one team while partnering closely with another SRE supporting a second team within a geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Site Reliability Engineer supporting Azure-based applications and platforms.
• Design, build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and other cloud automation tools.
• Partner with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes, reliability, scalability, and system performance.
• Support Java and Python-based microservices deployed in Azure environments.
• Manage and support Azure Container Apps (ACA), Kubernetes, and AKS environments.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and cloud-native deployment tools.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response.
• Research and resolve infrastructure, networking, and platform-related issues across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
