Job summary

Fabric Health is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to evolve and safeguard our infrastructure, powering healthcare experiences for millions of patients. You will reduce operational toil and enable the Fabric tech community to move faster while maintaining reliability.

You will design and operate Kubernetes clusters, optimize cloud components, and build automated, AI-assisted operations to keep platforms robust and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for enterprise-grade availability.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure components (EC2, RDS, S3) for performance and cost.
• Evolve infrastructure management platform with interfaces and guardrails to maximize engineering productivity.

What You'll Do

• Infrastructure & Kubernetes Orchestration
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for enterprise-grade availability.
  • Optimizing the footprint of infrastructure objects across core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) for performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Evolving a scalable infrastructure management platform, with the right interfaces and guardrails to maximize engineering agency at minimal cognitive load.
  • Defining golden paths for workload orchestration and integration with infrastructure dependencies, ensuring the right way to do things is also the easiest.
