Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 - [Not open to C2C or 1099]

Salary Range: $115,000–$165,000 Annually

The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Linux, Python/Bash, distributed systems, SLI/SLO, incident response, monitoring, and reliability automation, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and operate cloud or infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate repeatable provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records; collaborate across engineering and operations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: typically 4+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: Linux, Python/Bash, distributed systems, SLI/SLO, incident response, monitoring, and reliability automation.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.
• Hands-on knowledge of the named cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional hands-on depth in Linux, Python/Bash, distributed systems, SLI/SLO, incident response, monitoring, and reliability automation.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
