Job summary

NJF Global Holdings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Data Engineer/SRE to improve the reliability and scalability of our data pipelines in a Chicago-based role.

You will own automation, observability, and data quality across end-to-end ingestion and processing, collaborating with engineering to shape scalable solutions. The role blends 70% engineering with 30% operations, focusing on building tooling and standards to support a data-driven trading environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong programming and automation skills.
• A solid understanding of data pipelines, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
• An engineering mindset, with the ability to turn operational challenges into scalable solutions.
• A proactive approach to ownership, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Finance experience

Responsibilities
