Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with our premier client, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and operational excellence for banking applications hosted on AWS. The role blends traditional SRE with AI-powered observability tools in a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong AWS skills, and hands-on Dynatrace experience. Responsibilities include monitoring, incident triage, Terraform provisioning, and cost optimization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps
• Strong understanding of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction)
• Deep AWS experience: ECS Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge, Route 53, S3, Secret Manager, CloudWatch

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, LogRocket, and X-Ray
• Assist in triage during production incidents and outages
• Automate platform and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Manage AWS cost optimization for application stack
• Support the team's transition to Full Stack development model

This role combines traditional SRE practices with modern AI-powered observability tools to maintain highly available banking services hosted on AWS. You will be part of diverse technology projects with a team of developers experienced in banking products, distributed microservices, and serverless architecture.
