Job summary

• Hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, or equivalent military roles.
• Pro Core, and other digital tools used for quality documentation.
• Understanding of contracts and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes, ensuring work meets DEPCOM standards, contractual obligations, and applicable codes.
• Guide and train on-site quality personnel, aligning expectations and proper inspection, sampling, and documentation practices.
• Conduct audits, verify record keeping, and oversee subcontractor quality to ensure compliance and consistent project delivery.
• Serve as DEPCOM's quality representative at site meetings, building relationships with clients and internal teams while promoting transparency.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and develop solutions to quality challenges in real time.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish best practices and drive continuous improvement.

As a Site Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale solar and energy projects by leading quality oversight across civil, mechanical, and electrical construction activities.

Current Project Sites: Baconton, Georgia

Travel: Site based role with home trip rotations (typically every 3-4 weeks)

What You Will Do

• Lead quality inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes, ensuring work meets DEPCOM standards, contractual obligations, and applicable codes.


• Guide and train on‑site quality personnel, maintaining alignment on expectations and proper inspection, sampling, and documentation practices.


• Conduct audits, verify record keeping, and oversee subcontractor quality to ensure compliance and consistent project delivery.


• Serve as DEPCOM's quality representative at site meetings, building strong relationships with clients and internal teams while promoting transparency.


• Identify and resolve non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and develop creative solutions to quality challenges in real time.


• Collaborate with project leadership to establish best practices, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement across unique site requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Hands‑on experience in construction, manufacturing, or equivalent military roles


• Strong attention to detail with experience in data collection, reporting, and document management to maintain accurate, complete, and compliant project records.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Pro Core, and other digital tools.


• Leadership experience.


• Experience with contract management and interpreting project requirements.


• Valid driver's license and ability to work on‑site in Georgia.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Background in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering disciplines.


• Experience in solar PV and/or BESS projects, emphasizing quality and safety standards.


• Project management experience, including coordinating teams and maintaining compliance.


• Experience interpreting contracts, technical specifications, and project documentation.
