Job summary

HR On Demand is recruiting on behalf of a Texas-based engineering and construction company delivering advanced manufacturing facilities across the United States. The role leads MEP project management, coordinating owner, contractor, and regulator interfaces.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related field, 10+ years of MEP construction management, and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
• 10+ years of MEP construction management, including leading project teams independently.
• Familiar with the U.S. factory construction process and stage-by-stage permitting.
• Strong communication, judgment, planning, and execution skills.
• Able to travel frequently for project assignments.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD, Revit, BIM.

Responsibilities

• Establish project contracting structures and coordinate owner and contractor responsibilities.
• Prepare and review construction execution plans for owner approval.
• Drive project construction management across owner, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Manage safety, schedule, quality, change, and cost control for safe, on-time delivery.
• Participate in coordination meetings to ensure safe and orderly site construction.
• Develop commissioning plans, complete equipment testing and acceptance, and hand over to owner.
• Coordinate construction permits and administrative requirements, and compile phase documentation.
• Implement project cost control, confirm site variations, and lead contract payment collection.
