Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Procurement Manager for the Fulfillment Center team in San Diego, CA. You will bridge centralized Procurement with the site leadership, owning indirect procurement, vendor management, PO oversight, and inventory stewardship at the site level.

You will lead supplier performance, drive savings, and train cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, and Facilities. Regular travel to assigned site(s) and a strong focus on process improvement are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau experience.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement operations support for fulfillment centers, including managing suppliers, non-inventory labor, flow and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transactions.
• Ensure KPI compliance and benchmark procurement processes.
• Develop expertise in non-inventory items and share best practices across buildings.
• Build relationships across the network and train Operations, Loss Prevention, PXT, Transportation, Facilities Management and Safety on procurement processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and internal teams to understand budgets and measure savings and category metrics.
• Assist in determining budgets and managing blanket POs.
• Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and tools; drive improvements across categories such as janitorial, food service, pest control, landscaping, PPE and waste management.
• Ensure 3P suppliers comply with site contracts and SLA terms.
• Track and measure savings; standardize best practices across the network.
• Partner with AP and internal teams to resolve vendor payment issues promptly.
• Support Procure-to-Pay and local sourcing activities.
• Work with centralized Procurement teams and GPO pillars on procurement excellence.
