Job summary

CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories seeks an Assistant Site Supervisor at MatSu Regional Medical Center Palmer in Palmer, AK. This full-time role oversees daily site operations, guides workflow, and travels between hospital and company sites to support staff and processes.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, compliance with HIPAA, CAP, DOH and CLIA, and coordinating inspections. A biology degree and ASCP certification are preferred; 2+ years pathology experience is recommended.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science or biological science preferred.
• HT/HTL certification with ASCP highly desired.
• 2+ years pathology experience preferred.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of staffing for direct reports, including hiring, scheduling, timecards, budgeting and performance reviews.
• Mentors, trains and coaches staff.
• Manage daily site staff operations including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Assists Supervisor in managing onsite CAP/DOH inspections.
• Ensures regulatory compliance at all locations.
• Designs and implements department specific training program.
• Implements processes and process improvement projects.
• Functions as key trainer for direct reports in adherence to policies and procedures.

Education
