Job summary

Plasmidsaurus in San Francisco is seeking a Site Operations Manager to keep the lab and office running smoothly so scientists can focus on sequencing, while ensuring a welcoming, efficient headquarters for employees, candidates, customers, and visitors.

You will own lab operations, safety execution, office operations, and site coordination, coordinating with Procurement, EH&S, and facilities to maintain readiness, organize spaces, manage inventory, and support growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in laboratory operations or related roles.
• Experience coordinating vendors, deliveries, and facility needs.
• Experience with EH&S procedures and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of the SF laboratory, ensuring it is organized, well-maintained, fully stocked, and ready to support sequencing operations.
• Own local safety execution, including BSL2 procedures, inspections, and documentation.
• Own the SF headquarters operations, including office supplies, vendors, guest visits, and event coordination.
• Own site coordination by coordinating vendors, contractors, and facilities projects.
