Job summary

Republic Services is hiring an Operations Laborer in Mauston, WI to perform general labor tasks safely and efficiently at hauling sites, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills.

You will support yard work, fueling vehicles and equipment, cleaning, basic maintenance, and operating site vehicles. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscaping and skilled using landscaping equipment.
• Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
• Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean track on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pick up trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
