Job summary

Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center seeks a Site Medical Director to provide clinical leadership at the site and supervise providers, coaching them in evidence-based, timely and equitable care while driving quality improvement; they will join the site leadership team, assist with recruitment of medical staff, and coordinate care to meet quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of providers at the site.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentoring for evidence-based, timely, effective, and equitable care.
• Participate in site Leadership Team and assist with recruitment of medical staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor quality metrics.
• Coordinate provider scheduling and attendance at meetings.
• Serve as liaison between the Center and community groups regarding clinical issues.
