Job summary

NPK International Inc. in Emporia, Virginia is seeking a hands-on material handler to support yard and on-site operations.

This role requires physical labor in various weather and ground conditions and offers opportunities to contribute to site access services. Under direct supervision, you will load and unload materials, install ground protection and mats at customer sites, and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: No Degree Required.
• Experience: No Experience Required, 1 year manufacturing, warehouse or construction experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License Preferred

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means.
• Installs ground protection and lays mats at customer sites.
• Adheres to safety and quality procedures – OSHA, EPA, DEQ, and DOT rules and NPK policies.
• Maintains good interpersonal relations and works in a team environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule (day, night, weekends and/or holidays) and be on call.
