Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Site Manager, E6-B, to lead on-site CLS activities for the E-6B program at Offutt AFB. You will direct supply support, inventory accountability, repairables processing, and readiness reporting to ensure mission readiness.

The role requires 7+ years in aviation logistics and 4+ years in a leadership position, with DoD logistics experience preferred. Strong systems knowledge and CAC clearance are expected.

Qualifications

  • Education: HS diploma or GED; BA/BS preferred.
  • 7+ years in aviation logistics, supply chain, or DS/CLS support.
  • 4+ years in a team lead or site leadership role.
  • Experience with DoD/Navy/Air Force logistics preferred.
  • Experience with requisitions, repairables, and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems and standards preferred.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance; CAC required.
  • Valid driver license for base operations; equipment operator license if needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Direct on-site Contractor Logistics Support activities for the E6-B program at Offutt AFB, NE. This role provides day-to-day leadership for supply support, inventory accountability, repairable processing, Support Equipment coordination, Airborne Launch Control System Forward Supply Point support, material movement, customer communication, and readiness reporting at the assigned Forward Operating Base. The position reports directly to the E6-B CLS Program Manager and is critical to maintaining responsive, accurate, and compliant support to E6-B mission requirements.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Manage daily operations of the assigned Supply Response Center and provide direct on-site leadership for E-6B Contractor Logistics Support activities.
  • Provide supply support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, to support E-6B mission and readiness requirements.
    Serve as the primary on-site interface with squadron customers, local Government representatives, maintenance activities, and the Program Manager.
  • Manage Government-owned inventory, spares, repair parts, support equipment, and local material accountability in accordance with established procedures.
  • Process requisitions, issues, backorders, turn‑ins, retrograde material, transfers, and customer status requests in contractor and Government logistics systems.
  • Coordinate packaging, handling, storage, transportation, shipping documentation, shipment tracking, and receipt of material to and from customers, vendors, repair sites, and other operating locations.
  • Support repair of repairables activities, including tagging or marking material condition, maintaining traceability, forwarding repairables to vendors, tracking repair status, and coordinating return of Ready For Issue assets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, support annual physical inventories, research and correct discrepancies, and support Government audits of site inventory and Government Furnished Property.
  • Monitor local material consumption, backorders, Not In Stock conditions, estimated delivery dates, support equipment status, and customer readiness impacts.
  • Support contractual performance metrics for supply effectiveness, issue time, response time, support equipment availability, inventory accuracy, and repair turnaround time.
  • Lead site personnel, assign daily work, support staffing coverage, maintain training records, and ensure required certifications, licenses, Common Access Card eligibility, and clearance requirements are maintained.
  • Comply with operational security, hazardous material, environmental, safety, quality assurance, physical security, and host installation requirements.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and as required status meetings, readiness reviews, inventory reviews, and Program Management reporting activities.
  • Implement local process improvements that streamline operations, reduce delays, improve material visibility, and improve customer responsiveness.
  • Coordinate local Support Equipment activities for assigned assets, including organizational, intermediate, and depot level repair support, calibration coordination, log and record maintenance, and pre-operational inspections as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree from a four‑year college or university preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in aviation logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, or Contractor Logistics Support required.
  • 4+ years in a team lead, supervisor, warehouse lead, or site leadership role required.
  • Previous experience supporting Department of Defense aviation, Navy logistics, Air Force logistics, or Government repair depot operations preferred.
  • Experience with material requisitions, backorders, repairables, support equipment, Government‑owned inventory, and supply response operations required.
  • Knowledge of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures, Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System, Local Asset Management System, Support Equipment Standardization System, or comparable logistics systems preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and Common Access Card required.
  • Valid driver license required for personnel operating vehicles on base.
  • Support Equipment operator license required when operating support equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and logistics reporting tools required.
