Overview

Greenvolt Next France is seeking a Site Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the execution of decentralized energy projects, with a strong focus on photovoltaic (PV) installations. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. You will act as a key link between internal teams, subcontractors, and partners, supporting both the development and execution phases. This role combines technical expertise, on-site coordination, and project management within a fast-growing environment focused on the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities (English):

  • Project Development & Technical Support
    • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and technical input during negotiations.
    • Assist in licensing processes and preparation of required documentation for project approvals.
    • Conduct site surveys according to Greenvolt Group guidelines to support execution project design.
    • Review and critically analyze technical projects, ensuring feasibility and adaptation to on-site conditions.
  • Construction & Site Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project priorities.
    • Oversee installation works, including structures, photovoltaic modules, inverters, and cabling systems.
    • Monitor progress, quality of works, and compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
    • Support subcontractors in resolving technical issues during execution.
    • Assist in the commissioning phase of photovoltaic plants.
    • Prepare and deliver weekly activity and progress reports.
  • Subcontractor & Installer Management
    • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors throughout the installation phase.
    • Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
    • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
    • Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship.
    • Act as the main point of contact between Greenvolt Next and subcontractors.
    • Resolve operational or communication issues efficiently.
  • Project Planning & Execution Control
    • Collaborate with senior management to define project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Support budget preparation for construction and procurement activities.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials and availability of manpower.
    • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Operation & Maintenance Support
    • Support the transition from construction to operation phase.
    • Contribute to the management, monitoring, and maintenance of projects after commissioning.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
    • Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
    • Provide regular updates on project status to internal stakeholders and senior management.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) to ensure smooth execution.
    • Support relationship management with external partners, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Développement de projets & support technique
    • Soutenir les activités de développement commercial, notamment la préparation des offres et l’apport technique lors des négociations.
    • Participer aux processus de licensing et à la préparation de la documentation nécessaire aux autorisations de projets.
    • Réaliser des visites et relevés de site selon les directives du groupe Greenvolt afin de soutenir la conception des projets d’exécution.
    • Analyser de manière critique les projets techniques et garantir leur faisabilité ainsi que leur adaptation aux conditions réelles du terrain.
  • Construction & gestion de site
    • Planifier, coordonner et superviser l’ensemble des activités de construction sur site, en assurant l’alignement avec les priorités du projet.
    • Superviser les travaux d’installation, incluant structures, modules photovoltaïques, onduleurs et systèmes de câblage.
    • Suivre l’avancement, la qualité des travaux et la conformité aux plans et spécifications techniques.
    • Apporter un support aux sous-traitants dans la résolution de problèmes techniques pendant l’exécution.
    • Contribuer à la phase de mise en service des centrales photovoltaïques.
    • Préparer et présenter des rapports hebdomadaires d’activité et d’avancement.
  • Gestion des sous-traitants & installateurs
    • Coordonner et planifier les sous-traitants tout au long de la phase d’installation.
    • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes sur site et garantir le respect des délais et jalons.
    • Appliquer les normes de santé, sécurité et environnement sur les chantiers.
    • Réaliser des inspections régulières pour garantir la qualité des travaux.
    • Être le point de contact principal entre Greenvolt Next et les sous-traitants.
    • Résoudre efficacement les problèmes opérationnels ou de communication.
  • Planification de projet & contrôle d’exécution
    • Collaborer avec la direction pour définir les plans de projet, les plannings et l’allocation des ressources.
    • Participer à la préparation des budgets de construction et d’approvisionnement.
    • Assurer la livraison des matériaux dans les délais et la disponibilité des ressources humaines.
    • Identifier les risques et proposer des actions de mitigation pour éviter retards ou dépassements de coûts.
    • Maintenir une documentation projet précise et à jour.
  • Exploitation & maintenance (O&M)
    • Soutenir la transition entre la phase de construction et la phase d’exploitation.
    • Contribuer au suivi, à la gestion et à la maintenance des projets après mise en service.
    • Garantir le respect des exigences légales, réglementaires et internes.
    • Assurer une veille sur les évolutions réglementaires et les bonnes pratiques du secteur.
  • Coordination des parties prenantes & reporting
    • Fournir des mises à jour régulières sur l’état des projets aux parties prenantes internes et à la direction.
    • Coordonner avec les équipes internes (ingénierie, procurement, opérations) pour assurer une exécution fluide.
    • Soutenir la gestion des relations avec les partenaires externes, fournisseurs et prestataires.

Profile & Qualifications (English)

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
  • 3+ years of experience in site management, construction, or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience in photovoltaic (PV) systems and decentralized energy solutions is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including low and medium voltage installations.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and on-site operations.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle from development to commissioning.
  • Fluency in French and good command of English.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, PVsyst, PVSol, and electrical sizing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Driving license (Category B).
  • Availability to travel to project sites.
