Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Sunbury, PA, seeks a Site Manager to oversee daily operations of shuttle drivers and warehouse crews at a building materials plant.

You will manage safety, coordinate trucking activities, hire/train staff, and ensure customer needs are met while driving efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with start/end times; some weekends may be required.
• Ability to train, coach, and lead employees positively.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Sound decision making and problem solving in fast paced environment.
• Trucking experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising employees including hiring, training, and termination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of shuttle drivers and warehouse crew.
• Move trailers around the property using jockey-spotter/shuttle trucks.
• Maintain trucks and coordinate with local vendors.
• Ensure plant operations run efficiently with safety as a priority.
• Interview, hire and train new associates.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure customer needs are satisfied and data entry is accurate.
• Meet company metric goals.

Operations Manager

Job Description:

Qualified candidates will oversee the daily management of the shuttle drivers and warehouse crew. This position is at a building materials manufacturing plant that uses 45-53 ft flatbed trailers to ship and receive product. Tarping and strapping operations may be required as needed. Experience with backing up and maneuvering trailers in and around tight spaces is preferred.

Job Duties (include but not limited too):

• This position requires operating a "jockey-spotter" truck and/or shuttle truck to move trailers around the property and to an off-site drop yard, backing into, and pulling out of loading bays, etc.
• Maintenance and service of trucks with local vendors required
• Operating the plant with efficiency and everyone's safety as a priority
• Interview, hire and train all new associates.
• Conduct safety meetings and compliance of all staff.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed daily
• Make sure all customers needs are satisfied and met
• Supervise accurate and timely data entry
• Meeting company metric goals

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
