Job summary

Newbold Services, LLC in South Bend, Indiana seeks an experienced manager to oversee janitorial operations. You will lead a team, coordinate with client leadership, ensure safety, and deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

The role requires strong communication, a proven leadership track, and hands‑on approach to all contract areas. You will train staff, conduct periodic audits, and adapt to changing client needs while maintaining budget targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven leadership and management success.
• Experience as a manager in janitorial or housekeeping services.
• Experience with electronic timekeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance.
• Complete online management and leadership training and development.
• Recruit, hire, train and deploy a capable workforce.
• Ensure labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met.
• Conduct periodic quality audits and address deficiencies promptly.
• Perform periodic performance reviews with client leadership.
• Be adaptable to changing customer needs and be hands on in all areas.
• Perform other duties to support operation.

We are in need of an experienced manager to oversee the Janitorial operations.This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to solve problems and make timely and effective decisions that support the most positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development
• Recruit hire,trainand deploy a capable work force
• Ensure all labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address any deficiencies immediately
• Conduct periodic performance reviews with client leadership to ensure all requirements and cleaning expectations are achieved consistently
• Be able to adjust to changing customer’s needs
• Must be willing to be hands on in all areas of the contract.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operation.

Requirements:

• 2 years proven leadership and management success
• Previous experience as a manager in a janitorial or housekeeping services role
• Previous experience with electronic timekeeping desired
