The Site Manager role at Whistle Express is where ownership becomes real. You are the leader of the site — the person responsible for the people, the guest experience, the equipment, the standards, and the results. You are not just keeping the wash open. You are building a team, running a business, and creating a place guests and employees want to come back to. This role sits between the Assistant Site Manager and the Market Director. You will develop the leaders below you, partner with the Market Director above you, and make sure the site performs every day — not just when someone is watching.**What You’ll Do****Lead & Develop the Team**As the senior on-site leader, you will:* Recruit, hire, train, coach, and performance manage all team members, including the Assistant Site Manager, Shift Leads and Team Members* Build and reinforce a positive, growth minded culture grounded in company values (Based on the expectation to build a positive, growth minded culture)* Conduct ongoing development conversations and ensure readiness of future leaders* Ensure all staff follow safety, customer service, and operational standards consistently**Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience*** Champion a welcoming, service-oriented environment where every customer feels valued* Resolve escalated concerns and coach the team on best-in-class customer engagement* Lead membership growth strategies, including sales coaching and service recommendations, based on promoting memberships and services, addressing concerns, and assisting customers**Oversee Site Operations & Equipment Performance*** Own all daily operational workflow and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety* Maintain equipment reliability by managing preventative maintenance, repairs, and vendor support* Ensure the site consistently meets company standards for quality, cleanliness, and throughput* Analyze operational metrics and implement improvements to increase performance and reduce downtime**Drive Sales, Profitability & Business Results*** Set and manage site-level sales, membership, labor, and operational targets* Lead sales initiatives, promotions, and team‐wide upselling behaviors* Monitor KPIs and adjust staffing, processes, or workflow to achieve results* Manage site expenses, inventory, and cost controls**Ensure Safety, Compliance & Brand Standards*** Enforce all health, safety, and environmental protocols* Ensure adherence to company policies, operating procedures, and quality standards* Address risks, incidents, or equipment failures promptly and effectively* Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure consistency and compliance**Qualifications****Required*** Strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills* Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding, and performance management abilities* Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, hands-on outdoor environment* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills* Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and capable of independently running all aspects of site operations (Expanded from reliability and eagerness to learn)* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays* Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks**Preferred (but not required!)*** Previous site management or multi‐team leadership experience* Experience in retail, service, hospitality, or other customer facing roles* Mechanical aptitude for overseeing equipment checks and maintenance* Experience with sales-driven environments or membership programs**What We’re Looking For****We are looking for a leader who treats the site like a business and the team like the reason it works.*** You have led teams before and know how to create accountability without losing trust.* You own outcomes. Sales, labor, safety, quality, culture — you do not point at the scoreboard. You move it.* You develop people. The best Site Managers build Assistant Site Managers and Shift Leads who are ready for more.* You solve problems quickly and communicate clearly. Silence creates confusion. Leadership creates direction.* You are comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active, outdoor environment and willing to be present where the work happens.* Prior management experience in car wash, retail, restaurant, service, or field operations preferred. A track record of ownership matters more than a specific industry.**The site reflects the leader. Make it a place people notice.**The best version of this industry is being built one site at a time.
