- Ensure material receipts and selling of chemical materials in ERP/Purchasing system.
- Complete customer invoices, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and monitor inventory levels.
- Identifies, tracks and secures customer approvals of Productivity projects.
- Identification of alternate materials and suppliers.
- Tracks order progress to receipt of goods at customer location.
- Interacts with customers and on-site personnel on delivery, quality or any other issues on purchase order.
- Establishes and continually manages effective supplier relations.
- Completes physical inventories and conducts material planning based on customer needs.
- Performs other duties and special projects as required.
- Run and analyze reports to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, pricing discrepancies, supplier changes, and supply chain improvement.
- Engages in supplier negotiations and works to delay or reduce price increases from suppliers.
- Works on customer bids to obtain supplier pricing for any new business opportunities.
- Awareness/commitment to extensive cost savings and impact of costs on customers
- Forecast usage / maintenance based on schedules and history and to suggest needed maintenance and materials

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry/Biology, biochemistry preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aerospace chemical management preferred.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry and/or preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in chemical management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in contract construction, negotiation, and application.
- Must possess RCRA/DOT and HAZWOPER certifications.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast paced environment. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires presence on the manufacturing floor and a significant amount of walking on concrete surfaces. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Ability to work in team fostered environment. Ability to work in multi-tasked environment. Strong personality and focus in fast-paced and demanding environments. Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
