Reimagine What’s Possible

This 24/7 operation supports more than 500 customers and requires close coordination across commercial drivers, plant operators, vehicle mechanics, technical staff, logistics, and production support teams. As a key member of the management team, the Site Manager provides direct leadership for three direct reports and oversees teams of Operators, Drivers, and Vehicle Mechanics. The role requires strong operational knowledge, effective cross‑functional leadership, and the ability to drive safe, reliable, and efficient performance across multiple business units. • Support all aspects of day‑to‑day plant and distribution operations, including identifying operational issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee the site Management of Change process, including the development, documentation, and implementation of procedures.
  • Respond to and support plant and distribution issues on a 24/7 basis as needed.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver safe, reliable operational results within budget limitations.
  • Identify maintenance concerns and partner with the regional maintenance team to develop and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Drive productivity improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across each business unit.
  • Coach, train, counsel, and develop employees to support performance, compliance, and career growth.
  • Interface with Air Products professionals, internal support teams, and regulatory officials as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience in process plant operations and/or maintenance required.
  • Distribution operations and/or maintenance knowledge preferred.
  • Strong leadership competencies with a hands‑on, can‑do attitude and a demonstrated drive for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and compliance.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, employee development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with multiple support groups; experience working in a matrix organization preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting programs, priorities, and initiatives in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, coaching, and teaching skills required.
  • Proficiency with PC applications required; SAP experience preferred.
