Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Colorado is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee onsite services for our customers, ensuring timely, profitable performance and adherence to safety standards.

The role directs production, scheduling, budgeting, and employee management, while maintaining strong customer communication and delivering valued environmental solutions across the metals industry. Bachelor's or Associate degree and 10 years' manufacturing leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Have Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on materials management, production, or engineering.
  • Three to five years' experience managing staff.
  • Previous experience with Profit and Loss responsibility Working knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university.
  • Experience in manufacturing, steel-industry, or other similar environment.

  • Directing all workforce personnel and functions, maintaining and overseeing all daily operations of the plant, and direct and indirect supervision of all plant personnel and staff.

Job Description

  • Previous responsibilities of purchasing, producing, inventory control, production control, and engineering, as well as shipping, receiving, and warehousing
  • Three to five years' experience managing staff
  • Previous experience with Profit and Loss responsibilityWorking knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance
