Job summary

Stord is seeking a Site Leader to oversee day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will manage supervisors and hourly staff, implement scalable processes, and drive operational excellence to meet business objectives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field, 5–7 years of leadership experience in warehousing, and strong people management, budget, and KPI skills. This role is based at our Kentucky facility and emphasizes safety, service, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; at least 4 years in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple supervisors and hourly associates across one or more warehouses (30,000–600,000 square feet).
• Plan, monitor and adjust staffing schedules to meet operational demands and budgets.
• Oversee inbound/outbound loading, unloading and warehouse organization with inventory accuracy.
• Maintain productivity, customer service and safety standards daily.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and career development; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage revenue and expenses against budget; track KPIs.
• Communicate objectives, policies, safety practices and programs to staff.
• Assist in delivering the facility-wide operational budget and labor planning.
• Develop peak-season strategies and collaborate with Warehouse Excellence team to ensure great customer experience.

This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. Assist the General Manager with all activity within the four walls of a Stord fulfillment center and must provide a strong vision and direction for the team, drive operational excellence, and implement scalable processes to meet business objectives.What You'll Do:Manage multiple supervisors and hourly associates in a warehouse or small grouping of warehouses, ranging in size from 30,000-600,0000 square feet per buildingPlan, monitor and execute staffing schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectivesManage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracyMaintain productivity, customer service and safety standards on a daily basisProvide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with strategic partnersTrain, coach, mentor and develop staff to achieve business objectives while providing career development opportunities, conduct performance reviewsManage revenue and expenses compared to budget; manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Communicate to operations’ staff in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, practices, programs, etc.Assist in delivering the facility-wide operational budgetAssist Manage recruiting and strategic labor planningEstablish and deliver targets for safety, efficiency, and qualityDevelop and deliver comprehensive peak season strategiesCollaborate closely with Stord’s Warehouse Excellence team to provide an unmatched customer experienceWhat You'll Need:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field highly preferredAt least 5-7 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; with at least 4 years of supervisory experience required.
