Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead distributed storage and database systems within the Services Engineering Infrastructure group in Cupertino, CA.

You will guide cross-functional teams across storage, networking, and platforms to deliver scalable, reliable services powering billions of users and petabytes of data. You will own architecture, release, and reliability engineering efforts, mentor engineers, and partner with EPM, SRE, PM, Finance, and Security to translate

Qualifications

18+ years of experience leading high-velocity, cross-functional teams through vision and influence.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and deliver across functions to meet key milestones.
Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are maintainable, understandable, and diagnosable.
Experience managing or operating distributed systems and delivering internet-scale services.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow teams responsible for developing core software and automated tests.
Drive release and reliability engineering for large-scale storage and databases.
Collaborate across storage, networking, and platform areas to ensure scalable systems.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate vision into concrete plans and measurable outcomes.
