Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Site Lead for a Data Center in Sparks, NV. This full-time role leads security officers, conducts tours, and enforces site regulations to protect client property and personnel.

Responsibilities include coordinating security teams, monitoring cameras, and supporting administrative tasks. Strong supervisory experience and customer service skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm during stressful situations.
• 2+ years of Supervisor experience required.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and managing needed.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen/background).

• Performs duties of Security Guard within scope of assignment.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices.
• Manage security teams in various environments.
• Ensure all deliveries/contractors are registered and authorized on site.
• Continuously monitor security cameras for suspicious activity.
• Assist with administrative duties for the Security Department.
• Order supplies and schedule weekly/extra coverage.
• Provide support to the facility team in emergencies.
• Perform weekly audits of patrols, incident reports and equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by managers.

Site Lead - Data Center - Full Time

Primary Location: Sparks, NV

Wage: $27.00/HR

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Site Lead position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts. Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

The Site Lead maintains the security and safety of the client site by supporting and providing their Security Officers clear guidance and leadership. If you have experience in the security industry and want to take the next step in your career you could be a great fit for this role.

What You Can Expect

• Management of security teams in various environments.
• Ensure all deliveries / contractors are registered and authorized to be on site before providing access to yard.
• Continuous monitoring security cameras for suspicious activity.
• Under the direction of the District Manager, assist with all administrative duties for the Security Department.
• Order supplies.
• Scheduling weekly and extra coverage.
• Provide support to the facility team in emergency situations.
• Perform weekly audits of Security patrols, incident reports and equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by the District Manager and Facility Manager.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2+ years of Supervisor experience required.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and managing needed.
