Job summary

Kyowa Kirin North America is seeking a Manufacturing Site IT Infrastructure Lead to own the planning, implementation, and execution of IT infrastructure at our Sanford, NC biologics site.

You will lead network operations, server administration, security, and end-user support across manufacturing, laboratory, and office environments, ensuring GMP-compliant, scalable infrastructure aligned with global standards. This role requires hands-on leadership and collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
• Seven years of IT experience with at least three years in manufacturing environments.
• Experience as an IT Infrastructure technical lead in pharmaceutical or manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with GMP, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead network operations, server administration, security, and end-user support across manufacturing, laboratory, and office environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure for real-time manufacturing operations.
• Manage on-premises and cloud server infrastructure (Azure/AWS), including lifecycle management.
• Oversee network security, firewall design, and network segmentation to protect manufacturing, lab, and office networks.
• Provide lifecycle management for PCS/MES/Data Historians/BMS integration within IT infrastructure.
