Job summary

Jabil seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering activities for a new large-form factor assembly site in Prince George, VA, onsite. You will drive equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and production system design from the ground up.

The role requires 7+ years in electronics manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership, plus Lean Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in electronics manufacturing, 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Expert knowledge of engineering philosophies and processes.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead ME and IE activities with focus on key metrics for large factor assembly manufacturing.
• Oversee startup project engineering: equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing systems, including layout, flow, and line balancing.
• Deploy manufacturing infrastructure and system configurations across the site.
• Create process flows, FMEA documentation, and training materials.
