Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical on-site and remote support for rope products.
  • Diagnose and perform preventive investigations on our ropes.
  • Assess application conditions prior to installation and report impacts on performance.
  • Support Sales with technical expertise during customer visits.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Sales, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure their technical needs are met.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right rope for demanding applications.
  • Address product quality issues with appropriate teams to find solutions.
  • Support Assembly by resolving technical issues related to product and tooling.

For our Wire Rope division, we are searching for an Application Engineer to be based in our recently established Final Assembly Location in Houston (TX).

ION:As a Site (Application) Engineer, you will be responsible for the business area of our Wire ropes for applications in the Construction & Industrial, Mining, and Cableways segme

You will demonstrate your organizational talent in coordinating and prioritizing several simultaneous projects.
