An established civil construction company is looking for a Site Development Estimator & Project Manager to support large residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
This is a hands-on, full-cycle position combining preconstruction estimating with project management. You’ll prepare estimates and bids, then remain involved once projects are awarded, managing schedules, customer expectations, vendors, quantities, and the transition from the office into field execution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial site development projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Complete detailed quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing
- Prepare and manage competitive bids
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Manage submittals and project documentation
- Work directly with customers and manage expectations throughout the project
- Coordinate information between the field and office teams
- Track project quantities, costs, and progress
- Manage project workflows, schedules, and vendor relationships following project award
- Support project startup and closeout with local government agencies
- Identify potential issues early and work with the team to keep projects on track
- Maintain clear and accurate project records and communication

- Using industry-standard estimating and construction management platforms
- Taking ownership of projects and seeing your work through from estimate to completion
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in civil construction, estimating, project management, or a related field
- Experience with site development, earthwork, utilities, and/or roadway construction
- Strong experience with plan review, takeoffs, bidding, and cost estimating
- Working knowledge of AGTEK
- Working knowledge of Hard Dollar, B2W, or HCSS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project / scheduling software
- Experience with project startup and closeout, particularly with local government agencies
- Strong understanding of construction quantities, production, costs, and field operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working between the field, office, customers, vendors, and project teams
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
