Job summary

Brockman Site Development seeks an experienced CAD Technician to support our survey and construction teams in Central Florida. You will prepare and maintain accurate drawings, models, and construction data for site-development projects.

The role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work with field crews, project managers, and estimators in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson, and be comfortable coordinating with

Qualifications

• Experience with civil site drawings and grading plans.
• Ability to read plans, surveys, grades, elevations, and utilities.
• Familiarity with surfaces, contours, alignments, profiles, and coordinate systems.
• Degree or technical cert preferred; experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil site drawings and related construction documents.
• Import, organize, and process survey field data.
• Create surfaces, contours, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Support construction layout, stakeout, and field data preparation.
• Review plans for accuracy, completeness, and conflicts.
• Coordinate drawing revisions with survey crews and project teams.
• Maintain CAD files, drawing standards, and project records.
• Assist with quantity calculations and other project tasks.
