Job summary

Olsson’s Site Design team in Nebraska is seeking a Design Technician to prepare planning and design documents for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects. You will draft plans, perform engineering support tasks, and update design calculations with supervision as needed.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership of work, and the ability to add content to production sheets while using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist basic CAD operations including annotation, red line corrections, and plan publishing.
• Draft plans using design software and incorporate project information into models.

• Add content to project production sheets including dimensions, title sheets, and detail sheets.
• Receive instruction from a supervisor or project manager and work under approval.
• May work in various terrains and weather conditions on project sites.
