Generac seeks a Technical Site & Service Coordination Manager to oversee technicians across multiple construction and operating sites for installation, startup support, service, and troubleshooting of RICE-based power generation equipment.
You will plan work priorities, ensure safe execution and schedule adherence, and provide daily site reporting while serving as the technical interface between technicians, project teams, customers, and site stakeholders.
The Technical Site & Service Coordination Manager coordinates technicians across multiple construction and operating sites for installation, start‑up support, service, and troubleshooting of power generation equipment based on reciprocating internal combustion engine (RICE) systems and associated auxiliaries. The role is responsible for planning and prioritizing work in coordination with the execution team, supporting safe and efficient execution, and ensuring technical issues are resolved in line with customer, quality, and schedule requirements. The position provides technical coordination only and has no disciplinary leadership responsibility.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
