Job summary

Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP) seeks a Site Controller in Ogden, UT to lead all site finance and accounting activities, including FP&A, general and cost accounting, and internal controls. You will partner with site leadership to drive productivity, optimize costs, and evaluate capital investments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing finance, strong ERP/analytical skills, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance in manufacturing.
• Experience as a Controller or site/plant controller role.
• Strong FP&A, cost/inventory accounting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead site finance and accounting activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with operations to drive financial performance and cost control.
• Present forecasts, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop financial models and manage capital investments and ROI reviews.
• Lead and develop the site finance team and ensure internal controls.
