Job summary

PlayCore Holdings, Inc. is hiring three Site/Civil Laborers and Equipment Operators to join our field construction team. Projects involve sports field and site/civil construction work, with a focus on earthwork, drainage, grading, and site preparation.

Candidates should be comfortable operating equipment and performing hands-on construction tasks as part of a field crew. Lodging and per diem are provided for qualifying out-of-town projects across Indiana & Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Experience in site/civil construction preferred.
• Ability to travel to project locations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on site and civil construction activities.
• Assist with excavation, earthwork, grading, and site preparation.
• Install storm drainage and underground piping.
• Perform fine grading and aggregate placement.
• Operate skid steers, excavators, compactors, and other construction equipment.
• Assist with laser grading and machine-control operations.
• Read and work from construction plans and grade information.
• Assist with field layout and measurements.
• Perform compaction and subgrade preparation.
• Load, unload, move, and stage construction materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Follow project specifications and direction from the Working Foreman.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
