Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead municipal and commercial civil design efforts across a range of projects.

You’ll develop site layouts, manage design calculations, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver proposals and construction documents. With a bachelor’s degree and a PE license, you’ll mentor junior staff, supervise professionals, and ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent licensing.
• Experience leading civil design teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop site civil layouts, grading, drainage and utility plans.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on civil projects.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams and authorities.
• Prepare calculations, specifications and contract documents.
• Supervise staff and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
