Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer Intern for Fall 2026 to join our national AEG practice. The role offers 40 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester and positions at several locations, including Cincinnati, OH.

Applicants must have work authorization in the job's country and visa sponsorship is not provided. Responsibilities include planning site layouts, creating concept and grading plans with Civil 3D, and applying hydrology concepts to projects. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment or recent graduation in a BS program in Civil Engineering.
• Zero to two years of related experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Preferred experience in hydraulics and hydrology.
• Work may require field work, local travel, and overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Apply hydrology and stormwater management knowledge to site projects.
• Prioritize workflow, multitask, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with the project management team to identify impediments and develop solutions.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
