Job summary

Woolpert seeks a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in multiple locations, including Cincinnati, OH. You will design site layouts, develop grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and contribute to hydrology and stormwater initiatives.

The role targets a BS in Civil Engineering with up to 2 years of related experience; travel and occasional field work are expected. Base pay ranges from $23 to $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is a plus.
• Knowledge of hydraulics & hydraulics/hydrology preferred.

Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our dynamic Civil Engineering team in one of several locations - Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Columbus, OH, Dayton, OH, Fairview Heights, IL, Harrisburg, PA, Indianapolis, IN, Knoxville, TN, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Richmond, VA, Salt Lake City, UT.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks.
• Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Perform pavement assessments and compiling data and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• Candidates should be pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
• Zero (0) to two (2) years related experience.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology preferred.
• Duties include occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$23—$27 USD
