Site Civil Design EIT/Coordinator

Join HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group to design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age. In this role, you will assist senior engineers, own small projects, and support larger projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation.
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage.
• Execute routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Carry out administrative duties related to project management for civil/site projects.
• Work independently on small projects or collaborate with senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Candidates without an EIT will hold the title of "Coordinator" and are expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD and experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil 3D, or specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows).
