Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Site Checker, Community Corrections to perform on-site checks for designated populations, schedule employment verifications, and conduct field breathalyzer tests. The role also involves completing discipline reports and ensuring safety and sanitation within the facility, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate clearly and solve problems

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing and apply problem solving techniques to complex issues.
• Pre-service and other required training may be required as part of the role.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of on-site checks with efficient use of company resources.
• Complete resident discipline reports for program or facility violations.
• Use company vehicle in a safe and compliant manner; report traffic incidents and complete accident reports.
• Provide supervision of resident population including safety, security and sanitation as assigned.
• Log checkout of equipment, keys, or other designated items per policy.

With Medical Benefits Wage is $19.08 includes medical, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K and more ($17.75 per hour + $1.33 for every 40 hours worked)

Without Medical Benefits Wage is $22.68 includes no medical, but does include PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K and more ($17.75 per hour + $4.93 for every 40 hours worked)

The Site Checker, Community Corrections is responsible for ensuring resident accountability through the timely completion of on-site checks for designated populations. This role will perform initial on-site checks, schedules appointments with employers to complete employment verifications, and performs random breathalyzer tests in the field. In addition this person will complete resident/inmate discipline reports for any facility or program violation detected.

• Ensure the timely completion of on-site checks, with the efficient use of company resources and time management.
• Completes resident discipline reports for any program or facility violation, in a timely manner.
• Utilize company vehicle, abiding by all safety and traffic laws, as well as company rules and regulations. Report any traffic violations and completes accident investigation reports when involved in traffic incidents.
• Provide supervision of resident population, including safety, security and facility sanitation as assigned.
• Log the checkout of equipment, keys or other designated items in accordance with policy and procedure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrate ability to complete pre-service and other training programs as required.
• Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing and apply problem solving techniques to complex issues.
• A valid driver's license is required.
