Gunnison Copper in Arizona is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for the Johnson Camp mine and Gunnison Project to oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, sourcing, and ERP-related supply chain functions on site.

The role requires mining experience and offers relocation support. You will partner with operations and maintenance to ensure material availability, optimize total cost of ownership, and lead a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in supply chain, procurement, or related fields.
• Mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred.
• Experience managing inventory assets over $1 million.
• Proven in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
• Strong ERP knowledge and business process improvement experience.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support operations, maintenance, construction, and capital projects.
• Direct responsibility for inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, cycle counts, and working capital management.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, freight procurement, and material delivery performance.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, spend analysis, and supplier benchmarking.
• Oversee RFx processes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
• Serve as business owner for ERP supply chain functions including procurement, inventory management, and reporting.
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting for continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Construction to ensure material availability.
• Participate in shutdown planning, major maintenance events, and capital project execution.
• Manage supplier performance programs and long-range supplier development strategies.
• Lead and mentor direct reports with a focus on safety and compliance.
