Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks a Program Coordinator for Minneapolis Kids at Armatage to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure program quality. The role collaborates with the Program Manager to implement policies and maintain safety and service quality across the site.

The incumbent will lead childcare staff, coordinate training, track on-site activities, and manage communications with families while ensuring DHS and district requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and two years of program coordination experience.
• Knowledge of child development, DHS rules, and records management.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and supports quality programming.
• Implements the policies and procedures of MPS and Minneapolis Kids.
• Coordinates work of staff; sets schedules; conducts performance reviews and training.
• Addresses staff performance daily via coaching, training and guidance.
• Coordinates procedures for child accountability and supervision to ensure safety.
• Oversees curriculum planning and daily activity schedules with staff.
