Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Site Engineer-Automation in Florence, KY, to support automation and robotics deployment within a hybrid work setting. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a customer-facing orientation.

You will own robot assembly system performance, interface with customers and partners, diagnose issues with live data, and drive improvements for uptime and efficiency. The position includes on-call duties and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; associate degree with equivalent experience accepted.
Experience in automation and robotics environments.
Knowledge of PLC programming, recipe debugging, and vision systems for inspection.
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Own the performance and reliability of robotic assembly systems deployed at a major customer site.
Act as the primary technical interface between the customer, manufacturing partners, field teams, and remote experts.
Use diagnostic tools, live data, and troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize system uptime and efficiency.
Support a 24/7 manufacturing environment with scheduled overnight and weekend shifts, including on-call responsibilities.

As a Site Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations supporting automation and robotics deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Site Engineer- Automation

12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) | One Week (3days, 4days off), the next week (4days, 3days off)

Location: Florence, Kentucky (Hybrid)

Pay Range:$90000 - $110000
