Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support site operations across our growing data center network in Houston. You will manage the security desk, vendor check-ins, and purchasing, while coordinating trainings and audits.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in an administrative role, strong multitasking ability, and proficiency with MS Office and Excel. This role is on-site with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative role.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time in a high-volume environment.
• Growth-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff the security desk, validate visitors and vendors, and check-in during assigned hours.
• Create all site-related Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with NA Admins and Site Directors for annual training at each site.
• Review and validate invoices in support of CFM/Site Director.
• Participate in site meetings for budget reviews and annual budget creation.
• Assist in document gathering for annual audits.

Key Accountabilities

• Staff’s security desk and provides visitor and vendor validation and check-in functions during assigned work hours.
• Creates all site related Purchase Orders.
• Works with NA Admins and Site Directors to ensure completion of annual training at each site.
• Reviews andvalidatesinvoices in support of the CFM and/or Site Director.
• Participates in site meetings relating to budget reviews and annual budget creation.
• Participates in and drives document gathering and organization in support of annual audits.
• Participates in site staff meetings and keep meeting minutes asrequired.
• Ensure that site supplies are managed and ordered asrequiredtomaintaininventory.
• Supports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for clients.
