Job summary

Aerotek Nashville is seeking Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a busy food manufacturing facility. You will operate electric sit-down forklifts for the majority of your shift, perform loading/unloading, RF scanning, and inventory tasks to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.

The role is fully onsite in Nashville, TN, with 10-hour shifts and potential overtime. We offer a stable, safety-focused environment with GMP compliance, PPE, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with electric sit-down forklifts over long shifts.
• Experience in material handling, including loading and unloading pallets.
• Ability to use RF scanners to track inventory accurately.
• Knowledge of basic inventory processes and shipping/receiving operations.
• Ability to comply with GMP standards in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric sit-down forklift for ~85–95% of each shift.
• Load and unload trucks safely following procedures.
• Move pallets within a warehouse with sliding track racks.
• Use RF scanners for pallets, packages, and materials off the forklift.
• Perform picking and staging for shipping/receiving.
• Support inventory control with accurate scanning and tracking of materials.
